The car was delivered as a bare timber frame ready to skin in Aluminium.

The alluminium body skin was recreated using the origional body panels and pictures to insure a correct nose and tail were produced from wire cages and timber bucks.

Kustom Garage and Artisan Coachworks are working closely with owner David Berthon on this Very unique piece. David plays a very big part in the build of his car being a passionate motoring person, He has been involved in the many design elements that go with a build such as this.
The main focus being the hand forming of the aluminium skin to fit a timber Buck and formers produced from Math Data created by the head Designers from GM Holden. Jamie Downie worked along side Brian Tanti to create the body panels which will be attached over the Carbon Fibre chassis of the FR.1 car. Jamie Downie and Kustom Garage have donated time to the FR.1 project for over seven years and will proudly continue.
